Water Spring in Lemek Conservancy

Adding to our many projects, Water4Wildlife completed a water spring constructed in Lemek Conservancy, Masai Mara on the 24th of April through the program Water4Wildlife #Water Is Life. The construction commenced on 9 of April 2023, and the process involves site excavation, construction of a Reinforced concrete wall, construction of a collection chamber having outlets, wash out and overflow, 5 layers of hardcore infill, DPM (Damp Proof Membrane) laying, murram infill and compacted including levelling the surface, plus water regulation and treatment. The water spring will provide clean water for all seasons to the wildlife and also serve 300 households living within Lemek Conservancy.
