Rehabilitated Borehole
In this rural village in North Mara, it is a daily challenge for young girls, sons and mothers finding water. Provision of access to safe water by Davis & Shirtliff has unlocked potential by returning time to study, work and has greatly improved sanitation facilities. The Oloosokon Community were overjoyed as water gushed from their rehabilitated borehole for the first time in a very long time.
This borehole will serve up to 350 households and it is also a benefit to the animals in the conservancy. We helped end the water crisis and restore hope to this community.
“Water4Wildlife and Davis&Shirtliff came to us with this lasting gift and we are happy and so thankful to them!” said John Lempaa.
