Quenching Thirst: The Impact of Water Troughs on Livestock and Wildlife Conservation
Water troughs serve as lifelines for both livestock and wildlife, ensuring access to clean, reliable water sources. They play a vital role in maintaining the health, productivity, and well-being of animals, whether on farms or in the wild. By recognizing the importance of water troughs and taking steps to ensure their proper maintenance and availability, we can contribute to the welfare of animals and the conservation of wildlife, fostering a more harmonious coexistence between humans and the natural world. This Water Trough Donation Project by Mr. Tom Bellekens was initiated to provide a reliable and sustainable source of water for both livestock and wildlife in Ilkimatare – Mara North Wildlife Conservancy. It was completed on 19th August, 2023.
