Nakuru City Football Academy aims to achieve social integration through football. The soccer academy based in Nakuru County, Kenya, nurtures the talents of kids between the ages of 5 to 17 years. The football kit donation aimed to increase sporting facilities accessible to the academy by complementing their existing football equipment.

Our partnership with Nakuru City Football Academy further intends to support children from needy families who cannot afford the monthly fee for coaching and training. These kids often stay at the fence, watching and requesting to be allowed to join the rest during coaching and games sessions.

We identified the organization as a beneficiary of the kit’s donation due to its proper management and engagement with children through football sport. They train at Nakuru Athletics Club. It also supports kids from the low-income residential areas of Kaptembwa and Kivumbini who are unable to pay the subscription fees to the Academy.

The coach, Bethuel Yator, noted: “Your kits donation and partnership with Water4Wildlife Maasai Mara Foundation will ignite the spark to motivate youngsters to participate in wildlife conservation projects that can change their lives”. The academy continues to promote social integration through football by encouraging children’s sports participation and providing their training and coaching needs. We are glad to support the institution with the donation.
