The Water4Wildlife Maasai Mara team visited two schools within the Maasai Mara ecosystem. We distributed footballs from the UEFA Foundation for Children and played with the children, encouraging them to enjoy football and work hard in school.
At one school, the children showed us a handmade ball they had created earlier and had used for over a year. They had made it using old clothes, sponge, polythene and worn mosquito nets. The children were very excited, and the teachers were happy to receive the new balls. They expressed their sincere gratitude.
