Construction of the Water4Wildlife Maasai Mara Girls Club Storage Room

Construction of the Water4Wildlife Maasai Mara Girls Club storage room began with groundwork and foundation works.

In April 2026, Water4Wildlife Maasai Mara officially commenced the construction of the Girls Club Storage Room under Phase 2 of the Football4Wildlife Project.
The project began with site clearance, manual excavation and foundation works carried out by local skilled and unskilled laborers. Construction materials were procured and transported to the site and community members actively participated in the initial stages of the construction process.
The storage room is being developed to provide a secure space for storing football equipment, educational materials, football uniforms and other resources used by members of the Water4Wildlife Girls Club.
This marks an important step in strengthening the Football4Wildlife programme and creating a supportive environment for girls participating in football and conservation activities in Maasai Mara.
